DRYUP®-seat pad
The heart of the bike tights
on the basis of MERYL® SKINLIFE

Bacteriostatic, hampering the growth of bacteria in a natural way by the use of silver. This was already the formula of last year’s summer programme for non-allergic biking pleasure with the exclusively from Gonso developed seat pads. The newly constructed, seamlessly shaped and bi-elastic seat pads DRYUP® are used in all trousers. The flat outlines of the new seat pad fit optimally on the trousers and on the build of the biker and though it increases clearly the seat and wearing comfort.
Stamped perforations and air canals increase the breathability and improve the ventilating in the seat area. Elementary pressure points are considered due to an optimized thickness of the seat pad.

At the selection of the elasticity grade during the seat pad development, it was considered that the material is not too elastic in order to guarantee the stability of the seat pad on the saddle. Thus, wrinkling and instability are prevented which would lead to ‘sliding’ of the seat pad in the tights. As an additional stability support, an absorption material was used with a higher density. As a result, a 4-way-stretch characteristic is achieved differing from the direction lengthwise and crosswise.

Light Wind Protection
100 % wind-resistant and water-repellent

1100 kilometres correspond to the road distance from Constance at the Lake of Constance to List on the Isle of Sylt, from Amsterdam to Bordeaux or from Zurich to Barcelona.

1100 kilometres, this is also the total length of microfibres which are needed for the production of the p. ex. the wind vest "Colorado" (see above on the left side). 1100 kilometres of finest fibres, from which fine and very closed fabrics can be produced.
And especially the mentioned density make them particularly suitable for really light wind protection clothes. The density of the material can be made variably during weaving for individual fields of application. Therefore, clothes made out of microfibres are wind-repellent, or as for the case of the here shown vest and jacket, even wind-resistant at 100%. Practical and ideal as a companion in summer. Because espacially wind can be malicious also in summr and it lets us get to know quickly and unforced a cold being rather usual in winter.
